The ABFF hosted the first Natural Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships

In Kenai, Alaska on March 28^th at Kenai H.S. The Kenai Peninsula is well known

for its world-class Salmon fishing. Local promoter Bernie Pendergast did an awesome

job putting together the competition. Over 30 local businesses sponsored the event and all or the winners received swords along with guided salmon fishing trips on the world famous Kenai River.

Over 30 athletes rocked the Kenai High School Auditorium, which seats 925 patrons.

Nick Schafer of Anchorage won the men’s overall Angie Bannan of Soldotna

Won the women’s overall bodybuilding, Sohnya Hamar of Soldotna was the overall

Fitness Champion and Helen Aye of Anchorage won the overall women’s figure.

Featured guest posers were men’s natural PRO bodybuilders Geoff Bonin of

Soldotna and 2008 overall Ms Fitness Florida Dana Snelson of Clearwater, Fl
